Your Listing Quality score provides insight into the competitiveness of your Marketplace offers. In this guide, you’ll learn more about your score and how it’s calculated.
How does it work?
Listing Quality is a metric that measures your offer’s quality. The metric measures key categories related to how customers view your published items. In Seller Center, the Listing Quality dashboard displays your overall average Listing Quality score, category breakdown, item performance and details about your published items.
To access this dashboard in Seller Center, select Listing Quality under the Growth section in Seller Center. Use the three main sections to review performance and areas of improvement:
- Your Listing Quality snapshot displays a comprehensive overview of your Listing Quality score and the five categories that are measured: Content quality, Price competitiveness, Shipping speed, Published and in stock and Ratings & reviews.
Before making edits to your offer, review each of the five categories to ensure your updates help your score.
- The Items performance snapshot provides an overview of how your items are ranked (e.g., poor (0-59%), good (60-79%) or excellent (80-100%) — depending on your Listing Quality score and areas for growth.
- Your Listings page consists of detailed metrics like GMV, Page Views and Converstion Rate, to further explain your items ranking and actions for improvement.
Hover over categories for each item and use filters to make quick updates or select Issues under Action to submit edits.
Additional guidelines
Your Listing Quality score can change over time. Find how each of these categories are measured below:
Category | Definition |

Content quality | This category measures the efficacy of your listing’s item name, description, key features and images. |
Price competitiveness | This category compares your price against similar products on external marketplaces. You can also use the Pricing insights dashboard to learn more about where your offer stands. |
Shipping speed | This category measures how fast you can deliver the item. Items that weigh more than 50 pounds or are listed at $10 or less aren't included in your Listing Quality score calculations. To automatically receive a 100% Shipping Speed score, offer fast and free shipping (three days or less) or fulfill your orders with Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS). |
Published and in stock | This category shows how often your item is available to customers and is based on the last seven days. |
Ratings and reviews | This category measures an item based on the number of customer reviews and its average rating. |
