Review Accelerator Program: How to enroll
Last updated on {publishedDate}
Reading time: 3 min
Overview

The Review Accelerator programencourages customers to share their feedback about Walmart.com products that are part of the program. When a customer purchases a participating product, they’ll be asked to write a true, accurate and honest review in exchange for a digital reward that can be used toward their next purchase on Walmart.com. In this guide, you’ll learn how to enroll eligible catalog items in the Review Accelerator program.

Notes

Customers won’t know about the incentive before making a purchase. Walmart won’t modify or remove a review unless it meets the guidelines for removal. For more information, visit Request to Remove a Review.

How does it work?

Each eligible item that’s enrolled into the Review Accelerator program is charged a fee based on cost per customer review. You’ll find the cost per review for each item in the item’s Cost Per Review column during the enrollment process.

You’ll also be charged for collected reviews up to the amount specified in the Target Reviews column based on the target number you’ve set. Regardless of the rating, all customer reviews will be posted on the item page and can be identified with an Incentivized Review badge.

Enroll items

Step 1 – Get started

Walmart uses an internal algorithm to review, rank and recommend which Marketplace items are eligible for the Review Accelerator program. Items are considered based on factors such as:

  • Item sales
  • Page views and published status
  • Amount of customer reviews, including recent
  • Projected product and seasonal demand
  • Available inventory

To review a list of your eligible items, go to the Growth dashboard in Seller Center and select Review Accelerator. Then, select Enroll items. Your eligible items are displayed in descending order, with items that have the greatest chance of Review Accelerator success at the top.

Step 2 – Enroll items

Select the checkbox next to each eligible item you want to enroll, and select Enroll items.

Notes

The Enroll items page is refreshed every 30 days. If you’re not able to find a particular item on your eligible item list, the item may already be enrolled by another Marketplace seller. Only one seller can enroll an item at a time.
