Release Notes
Late Shipment Rate is now a measurable performance standard
To support a more reliable customer experience, Late Shipment Rate will become an accountable seller performance standard at the end of July. This means that you’re expected to maintain a Late Shipment Rate of 5% or less to remain in good standing. By shipping orders on time, you help reduce delivery delays to ensure customers receive their orders when expected. The first carrier scan helps confirm that an order was handed off on time, so it’s important to ship orders by the Expected Delivery Date and ensure tracking is updated correctly.
If you self-fulfill orders, you can track your Late Shipment Rate and identify potential issues using the Performance dashboard.

Action Required: Change carrierName to AxleHire in Shipping API requests
The shipping carrier AxleHire is rebranding to Jitsu. If you're working with AxleHire and utilizing Walmart APIs, you should proactively update the carrierName field in all relevant Shipping API requests to "Jitsu" immediately. This update is critical to avoid service disruptions and ensure seamless order processing.
After July 1, 2026, Shipping API requests that still reference “AxleHire” as the carrierName value will fail validation, resulting in unsuccessful API calls and blocked order status updates associated with this carrier.

Update to Expected Ship Date calculations
We’ve updated the Expected Ship Date calculation for seller-fulfilled orders. If your fulfillment lag time settings are set to greater than zero, the Expected Ship Date will be calculated based on the order date, regardless of order cutoff time. For sellers with a lag time setting of 0, there is no change to how the Expected Ship Date is calculated.
Here's an example scenario showing the update: Your lag time is set to 1, and your cutoff time is 2pm. You receive an order at 3pm on Mon, July 6 (after cutoff time). Previously, your Expected Ship Date would have been Wed, July 8. After the update, your Expected Ship Date shifts to Tues, July 7.
This update ensures more consistent and reliable delivery promises to customers. We suggest reviewing your lag time settings and making any necessary adjustments to ensure you meet the updated expectations.
