Close out customer messages without impacting your Seller Response Rate
You can close out customer inquiries in your Seller Center inbox that don’t require a response by selecting the No response needed option. By doing so, you can help ensure that your Seller Response Rate and overall performance metrics aren’t negatively impacted. Use this option for messages that are duplicate messages or may not require a reply.

Connect with Marketplace sellers through the Seller Forum
 The Walmart Marketplace Seller Forum is a space to connect with other sellers, ask questions and share best practices. You can access the forum by logging into Marketplace Learn, where you’ll be assigned an anonymous username that will display each time you log in. You can post new discussions, search for answers, comment and like posts or bookmark helpful threads, with guidance from Walmart moderators.

Use GenAI to improve the quality of your item content
Elevate the quality of your item’s content with Walmart’s GenAI suggestions. Using the Enhance with GenAI feature in Seller Center, you can optimize titles, descriptions and key features for multiple items at once. This powerful tool helps you create top-notch content and improve your item’s content quality score.

Retire items even if your account is suspended
Seller Center admins can now retire items from Walmart.com if your account is suspended. You can only retire items that are not in Retired, Archived, or Draft status.

Automatically detect files for easier item management
You can now upload item setup templates in Seller Center faster and easier with automatic file detection. When you use the file browser window to upload a template, Seller Center detects the file type, shows the correct template format and enables the upload.
The file detection feature is available for all product categories except fitment. We also removed the Template drop-down menu so you can access the file browser window faster.

Warranty disclosure for international variants
We’ve updated our policy on international variants to provide guidance on warranty coverage. You’re required to display a warranty disclosure on each international variant’s item page. The disclosure must inform customers that the international variant does not have a U.S. manufacturer warranty. If the disclosure is not displayed, Walmart reserves the right to unpublish the variant.

A reminder about our final settlement payout policy
Walmart’s final settlement payout eligibility decisions are based on your adherence to the Comprehensive Walmart Marketplace Program Retailer Agreement, Walmart Marketplace Seller Retailer Policies  and Seller Performance Standards. A final settlement payout is the final account balance to be paid out for funds owed to a seller after their account is set to be closed or terminated. This includes the net amount of sales proceeds remaining after deductions for refunds, chargebacks and any other amounts owed are resolved.

Applications to sell Pre-Owned products are now open to all sellers
Starting December 15, 2025, all Marketplace sellers will have the opportunity to apply for participation in the Pre-Owned program through the Exclusive programs page in Seller Center. While the Resold program remains invite-only, selling Pre-Owned items provides you with the chance to tap into the growing resale market and expand your assortment.
