Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS)
In this guide, you'll learn how to adjust and customize your carrier settings if you choose to use Simplified Shipping Settings to fulfill your Marketplace orders. You can add multiple carrier methods and assign your preferred carriers and shipping speeds to different regions after you complete onboarding.
You must offer free shipping for this program. Most domestic USPS, UPS and FedEx services are supported.
Manage carrier settings
Step 1 – Get startedÂ
Navigate to the Shipping Profile section on the Account settings page in Seller Center and select Simplified Shipping Settings.
Step 2 – Choose your carrier and shipping priority
- Carrier: Choose the carrier and carrier service that you use most frequently. By default, the contiguous 48 U.S. states are selected. If you want to edit the settings of a carrier, select the three dots to the right of the carrier and select Edit. Choose Edit regions to modify your carrier coverage to include states such as Hawaii or Alaska. If you use more than one carrier service, choose Add new carrier to add others.  Select the carrier, service and priority then select the Create Carrier button.
Select the checkbox to save time and automatically apply your Simplified Shipping Settings to all your eligible published items.Â
- Shipping Priority: If you're setting up more than one carrier service, choose how Walmart should prioritize which carrier service should be given priority based on your preference. Select Shipping priority in Manage settings.
The accuracy of your fulfillment center settings is important to ensure that Walmart can select the best location to ship your orders from and to provide delivery promises to your customers based on that location. Review your seller-fulfilled fulfillment center settings to ensure that your fulfillment center details are accurate.
Step 3 – Customize your settings (optional)
After completing your initial set up, you can customize your settings for the following:Â
- Carrier settings: Customize carrier service settings for each of your fulfillment centers if needed by selecting the Edit button next to the fulfillment center. If any of your fulfillment centers aren’t listed, select the Add Fulfillment Center button. Visit here for more information on adding fulfillment centers.Â
Item group settings: Create customized shipping settings for groups of items that require special shipping needs (e.g., price, brand, product type or weight). For example, you can set up preferences such as only shipping via ground for items of a certain value. For more information, visit Simplified Shipping Settings: Manage item group settings.
