Unable to Select Correct Business Entity Type
Hello Walmart Marketplace Support,
I am registering my seller account. My business is a Single-Member LLC registered in New Jersey. During Business Verification, the Entity Type dropdown only shows:
- C-Corporation
- S-Corporation
- Partnership
- LLC – C-Corp
- LLC – S-Corp
My company is not taxed as a C-Corp or S-Corp, so none of these options accurately describe my business.
Could you please advise which option I should select or help update my account so I can complete the verification?

I cannot change the title. When I finally tried to change it, the system displayed: "This project is currently undergoing a compliance review, and the review content is consistent with your last submission. You cannot resubmit until the review is completed, which may take up to 48 hours." I have been waiting for 8 days.

Hello - I am bringing this up again as I have not been able to set up my seller account because there is no option for my entity type. I believe this is an error. I am a W-9 tax payer with a Single Member LLC / Disregarded Entity.
My tax advisor emphasized that I CANNOT select an entity type that does not reflect my business structure. It's not that I don't know which to choose, it's that the option is not there.
Single Member LLC / Sole Proprietor / Disregarded Entity is a valid and commonly used business structure in the U.S. including by third-party sellers.
Please update the options or advise accordingly. Thank you.

I can’t complete the business Verification because I am getting an error message when I try to fill out the “state business registration number” that says "invalid number. Must contain only letters, numbers, or hyphens. 6-25 characters long. must not be an EIN number or name of a state."
I have a document that shows my registration number as I have typed it out but it is not being recognized.
I got the number off of my document "Articles of Organization for a Limited Liability Company" that I got from my Secretary of State under my ID#.

I'm trying to register my brand on Walmart Seller Central, but they’re requesting additional information about my brand. I submitted my trademark as “pending registration” since that’s the current status, but Walmart keeps asking for more documentation without clearly specifying what documents they need.

Has anyone had any luck registering a Single Member LLC? The registration process pick list for Business Entity Type doesn't seem to have the option.
