Overview

If you fulfill your Walmart orders through your own fulfillment center, you can use the Ship with Walmart service to buy labels and ship packages at discounted rates. In this guide, you’ll learn about U.S. domestic and Walmart cross-border shipping carriers, and their services and rates.

Notes

On average, Walmart-negotiated rates offer Marketplace sellers discounted rates when compared to market rates for standard services. The actual rate may vary.

How does it work?

If you fulfill orders for items shipped within the U.S. and internationally, you can ship packages with USPS, FedEx and UPS and receive a discount on shipping fees. Below are the different settings you can update using the Ship with Walmart page:

Setting	Description
Default print settings	Configure default print settings to apply to all future label printing settings for your orders.
Custom packages	Set default package dimensions and receive an estimated shipping cost based on the package dimensions and weight that you’ve entered for custom packages. You’ll be charged based on the actual dimensions and weight measured by the carrier.
Shipping labels	Purchase discounted shipping labels through Walmart and choose your preferred package type and weight.
Insurance	Insure your label purchases with EasyPost coverage.
Signature on delivery	Require a signature for the package at the time of delivery, for FedEx and UPS shipments only.
Bring your own account	Set up your own account through FedEx to buy labels and add your own account rates.

Additional guidelines

If you fulfill orders for items shipped from China to the U.S., you can ship packages with Yanwen, an international courier service. Yanwen offers two types of shipping services: Yanwen Standard and Yanwen Express. Below you’ll find the transit times, label rates, package requirements and more:

Which carriers support Ship with Walmart?

How do I enroll in Ship with Walmart?

Ship with Walmart is a service that’s available to any Marketplace seller who fulfills their own orders. To start using Ship with Walmart, go to your account in Seller Center, navigate to Shipping Profile and select Ship with Walmart. Then, add or choose a fulfillment center and select it as your Ship from address.

|When you’re done, you’ll have the option to choose Ship with Walmart when buying shipping services. Depending on the country you’re sending packages from, different shipping options may be available. 

How will I know the cost for sending a package?

When you use Ship With Walmart to buy a shipping label, you’ll receive an estimated shipping cost based on the package dimensions and weight that you’ve entered.

When you use Ship With Walmart to ship packages, you’ll be charged based on the actual dimensions and weight measured by the carrier. 

The final shipping label cost appears in your Statements reports as Walmart Shipping Label Service Charge for shipping within the U.S., and Walmart International Shipping Label Service Charge for shipping from China.  

How do shipping label charges work?

Where can I find a record of my Ship with Walmart shipping labels?

My item was lost or damaged in transit. What should I do? 

Walmart isn’t responsible for lost or damaged items in transit. FedEx and USPS will cover packages with a value of up to $100. Additionally, Yanwen will cover a package valued up to CNY400. If you used FedEx, you can download a picture proof of delivery (PPOD) from the Orders page in Seller Center to confirm when a customer claims their items were lost or damaged in transit. Reach out to your carrier of choice to file a claim. For more information, visit Dispute standards.

Does Walmart protect my shipments?

You’re protected from late-delivery penalties if you ship orders on time. An order is considered shipped on time when:

The pickup scan has been completed: The actual ship time (the time when the package is scanned) is on or before the Ship by date.

The pickup scan is missing:

The Mark as Shipped time is on or before the Ship by date, and
The gap between the time received in the carrier’s origin hub and the Mark as Shipped time is within 24 hours.
