Overview

If you fulfill your Walmart orders yourself, use Ship with Walmart (SWW) to access discounted shipping rates from trusted domestic and international carriers while protecting your account against delivery related issues. In this guide, you'll learn about the carriers integrated with SWW and the various benefits offered by this feature.

Notes:

Ship with Walmart offers discounted shipping rates (versus market rates), performance metrics protection, and automatic protections for U.S. domestic shipments — offering up to $100 for orders lost in transit or after delivery, provided they’re shipped on time. You can also purchase additional protections up to $500 for orders over $100 from the carrier.

How does it work?

If you fulfill orders for items shipped within the U.S. you can ship packages with USPS, FedEx and UPS and receive a discount on shipping fees. Below are the different settings you can update using the Ship with Walmart page:

Setting

Description

Default print settings

Configure default print settings to apply to all future label printing settings for your orders.

Custom packages

Set default package dimensions and receive an estimated shipping cost based on the package dimensions and weight that you’ve entered for custom packages. You’ll be charged based on the actual dimensions and weight measured by the carrier.

Shipping labels

Purchase discounted shipping labels through Walmart and choose your preferred package type and weight.

Seller protections

Ship with Walmart provides seller protections for delivery issues outside your control. For eligible orders reported as lost in transit or after delivery, Walmart will refund the customer (up to $100), handle the carrier claim and keep your performance metrics unaffected.

Signature on delivery

Require a signature for the package at the time of delivery, for FedEx and UPS shipments only.

Bring your own account

Set up your own account through FedEx to buy labels and add your own account rates.

Additional guidelines

If you fulfill orders for items shipped from China to the U.S., you can enroll in Ship with Walmart Cross Border using Yanwen and SF Express for door-to-door delivery.

Notes:

Shipping labels are not available for purchase for orders shipping from China to the U.S.

Shipments fulfilled outside the U.S. are subject to customs requirements. Ship with Walmart carrier handle customs clearance on your behalf, and you’ll pay shipping fees only. When creating labels, the estimated shipping costs don’t include duty estimates.
