Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS)
Once you’ve been approved to enroll in the Walmart Pre-Owned Program and agree to the applicable terms and conditions, you’ll set up the items in your Marketplace catalog. In this guide, you’ll learn how to set up your seller-fulfilled pre-owned items. If you’re setting up a Walmart-fulfilled item, visit Walmart Pre-Owned: WFS items.Â
Participation in Walmart Pre-Owned is by invitation-only and not available to all Marketplace sellers. If you haven't been invited to enroll, the following information isn't relevant to you. If you sell gently used or pre-owned products and are interested in applying to the Walmart Pre-Owned Program, contact your account manager for more information.
Item setupÂ
Step 1 – Get startedÂ
Before you begin the setup process, make sure your pre-owned items meet the following requirements:Â
Product identifier (ID) | The UPC or GTIN for items in different conditions can be the same as the original product ID (also referred to as a new equivalent product ID). You can use the item’s original product ID. For more information, see  product identifiers. |
SKU | SKUs should be unique to items in different conditions. You can't use the same SKU for an item in a different condition. |
Product title | Walmart will add Pre-Owned, Open Box or Remanufactured to the beginning of the title based on the condition of the item. If you change these additions, your offer will be unpublished. For example:
**NOTE: Avoid using additional condition specific keywords in the title. |
Condition | You’re required to select the condition type based on the state of the item and indicating its level of wear, prior use (if any), appearance and overall quality from the following list of conditional values: New, New without tags, New without box, New with defect, Open Box, Pre-Owned: Like New, Pre-Owned: Good, Pre-Owned: Fair, Remanufactured, Restored and Restored Premium.   **NOTE: The Pre-Owned, Restored and Restored Premium programs are by invite only and you must be enrolled in that program to use these conditions. |
Image requirements | Product images that show the item's condition are required for the following conditions. The images are intended to show the item's condition and help set the customer's expectations as to the item they'll be receiving for the order.
Product images can’t be the same product images as those used in listings for the same product in new condition and must comply with our image guidelines and requirements. |
Step 2 – Choose an item setup methodÂ
You can use any item setup method to set up your items in the Pre-Owned Program. However, there are a few feature limitations for setting up Pre-Owned items in the following product types: modems, magazines, auto wipers and VCRs:Â
Express setup:   When setting up an item using Express setup, the search results will only display the new condition version along with the existing number of offers across all condition types. You’ll set up an offer using the original product ID and select the condition value. After the item is created, New and Pre-Owned items will share a single item ID and product ID (GTIN, UPC, ISBN). Unique identifiers will now reference the SKU and condition at the offer level.Â
