You may be able to suggest changes to your item’s content after you’ve finished setting up your item. However, because there may be multiple sellers providing content for the same item, you may not always be able to define which content will be displayed on Walmart.com. Walmart will determine the best available content for items unless it is provided by a brand owner or authorized reseller. Items that cannot be updated will appear locked during the updating process. If there is no match for your item, the item may be new to the Walmart catalog, meaning it hasn’t been set up by other sellers. If the item is part of the Walmart catalog, we may not recommend a match because the existing data isn’t accurate.

Items may appear in your catalog as quickly as 15 minutes or can take up to four hours. Walmart-fulfilled items that have hazardous materials require a compliance review, which may take up to three business days.

When you choose Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS), we pick, pack and ship orders for you. During item setup, we require more information, like country of origin, dimensions, compliance and trade item hierarchy. This allows us to safely store and handle items at our facilities.  

For Walmart-fulfilled items, we require dimensions, compliance and trade item hierarchy. If those details haven’t been provided by other sellers, you’ll need to add them just once for your item.
