Overview

The Repricer lets you enable automatic price adjustments for items in your catalog. You can easily create custom strategies, assign eligible items, monitor performance and qualify for Referral Fee discounts. In the guide, you’ll learn about the different pricing strategies you can apply to your SKUs.

Notes:

You must first accept the Automate Pricing Terms & Conditions which authorizes Walmart to adjust your item prices on your behalf.

How does it work?

The Automate pricing page is where you can create Repricer strategies for your items based on the rules you set. Once you’ve created and assigned a rule, it’ll automatically be applied to that item. For example, you could create a rule to meet or beat the winning Buy Box price on Walmart.com or match external price strategies.

Below you’ll find the different price comparison options you can automate. You can assign strategies to as many items as you want.

Pro tip

Prioritize assigning strategies to items that generate high site traffic and those with competitive offers on Walmart.com and external websites.

You can choose from the following competitive price options when creating a strategy.

Pricing strategy

Offer

Match Competitive price

This strategy matches the Competitive price when it’s lower than your price after your pricing adjustment is applied.

Adjust against Competitive price

This strategy applies your pricing adjustment to whichever is lower between the Buy Box price and Competitive price.

Don't compete with Competitive price

This strategy applies your adjustment amount only to the Buy Box price. Your Competitive price isn’t considered.

Compare with Competitive price only

This strategy applies  your adjustment amount only to the Competitive price. Your Buy Box price isn’t considered.

Notes:

The Repricer will only adjust the item price and doesn’t change your shipping price. Allow up to four hours for prices to be adjusted after uploading an item and selecting a strategy.

Additional guidelines

You can follow the steps in this guide to create your first strategy.

You can review the strategy preview to simulate how your pricing logic would apply to sample data. It shows your Current price, Buy Box price, Competitive price and your final automated price after applying the selected adjustment. Items must have a minimum and maximum price entered to be assigned to a strategy.

You can also review an item's price history through the Current Price column. You may pause or delete a strategy at any time through the Action column.
