Overview

The Walmart Restored program is designed to help enrolled sellers offer high-quality refurbished items on Walmart.com. The Restored program includes several available conditions. In this guide, you’ll learn more about the program and the available condition types.

Notes

Participation in the Walmart Restored program is by invitation-only and not available to all Marketplace sellers. If you sell refurbished products and are interested in applying to the Walmart Restored program, reach out to your account manager for more information or fill out our interest survey

How does it work?

Eligibility for the Walmart Restored program is discretionary and determined on your ability to offer refurbished items that meet our product quality requirements outlined in the Additional guidelines section. Additionally, you must have better-than-average seller ratings on Walmart.com and be in good standing with Seller Performance Standards. Walmart will review your account and inventory for adherence to the program requirements prior to approval.

If you receive an invitation and meet the requirements, check out Walmart Restored: How to apply. Once you're approved to enroll in Walmart Restored and agree to the applicable Terms & Conditions, consider reviewing the  item setup requirements before choosing an item setup method that best suits your needs.

Additional guidelines

All items in the Walmart Restored Program must be professionally inspected, tested, cleaned and, if necessary, refurbished to their original specifications by the manufacturer or a manufacturer-authorized or other qualifying seller or supplier. You can choose from the following item conditions: Restored: Like New, Restored: Good, Restored: Fair and Restored: Premium. Each condition type has specific condition requirements for eligible product categories that you must adhere to, review Item condition types for more information.

Generally, eligible products should have a battery, wall plugs or an electronic component. Eligible product categories are available to choose from during the item setup process. If the category isn’t available for selection during item setup, then the product isn’t eligible to be enrolled in the program. If you need assistance with troubleshooting eligible items or if you have questions, select the Help button in the Seller Center menu bar to contact Support or email Restored@walmart.com
