The Resold program allows you to offer high-quality, Pre-Owned and Restored items on Walmart.com. In this guide, you’ll learn more about product eligibility how to participate.
Participation in the Resold program is by invitation only and not available to all Marketplace sellers. If you’d like to sell Pre-Owned or Restored items through the Resold program, visit the Exclusives programs page in Seller Center to apply.
How does it work?
To participate in this program, you must be in good standing and consistently meet our Seller Performance Standards. If approved to sell resold items, you’re also required to comply with the Comprehensive Walmart Marketplace Retailer Agreement, retailer policies and Walmart’s Returns policy.
Products sold in the Resold categories must maintain a return rate of 9% or below.
The Resold program prohibits selling counterfeit items. Violations of this policy can lead to suspension or termination of your account.Â
Additional guidelines
All items in any Resold condition must be professionally inspected, tested, cleaned and, if necessary, refurbished to their original condition specified by the manufacturer or an authorized seller or supplier. Restored conditions have stronger requirements around warranty, battery life and return windows. Eligible products should be in excellent technical condition and include a battery, wall plug or an electronic component.
All Pre-Owned items should be gently used or pre-owned. These items should be fully functional and accurately represented. Pre-Owned items may use the original product ID and have lighter warranty requirements unless legally required.
Resold items are assigned a condition type during item setup. Each condition type has specific requirements for eligible product categories that you must adhere to. Some items, such as consumables and certain regulated products, are not eligible.

During the item setup process, you can select from a range of eligible product categories. If the category isn’t available during setup, it means the product isn’t eligible.
