Yes. You’ll use the original GTIN to set up the item, but we’ll also generate a custom fulfillment GTIN to track your Resold item through the Walmart network. The fulfillment GTIN is what’s available on the item label. Visit Resold at Walmart: WFS items for more information. 

Yes. The program is open to domestic and international sellers.

No. Conditions are offered at a product type level dependent on compliance and regulatory laws. 

Restored: Premium is the only condition that requires a warranty. Warranties aren’t required for Pre-Owned conditions unless otherwise required by law. However, you must accurately disclose to customers the warranty available (if any), or if the product is sold without a warranty. If Walmart determines it necessary to refund customers due to failure to honor a warranty, you’ll bear responsibility and associated costs when offering a warranty on resold products. 

There is no change to the existing Marketplace returns process. Restored: Like New, Restored: Good and Restored: Fair items are required to have an extended return period of 90 days.  For Restored: Premium, the standard 30-day period applies unless the item is otherwise excluded under the 15-day return window for certain electronics.  

The following are Walmart's recommended best practices for pricing Resold items:

• Price all Resold conditions below the equivalent new item whenever a comparable new offer is available.
• Provide progressively greater savings as the item condition declines.
• Ensure pricing reflects both the item's physical condition and any additional customer benefits (such as warranties or professional restoration).

All Resold items are subject to Buy Box Ineligibility rules. To ensure a fair and transparent shopping experience for everyone, Walmart may also make Resold (Pre-owned, Restored and Open Box) items ineligible for the Buy Box if their price exceeds that of a new item on the same product page. Exceptions may apply for certain categories, such as collectibles or some luxury brands.
