If 2-step verification is enabled for your Seller Center account, you’ll need to enter a one-time verification code every time you log in. In this guide, we’ll show you how to troubleshoot potential situations where you may be unable to access your one-time verification code so that you can successfully log in.
One-time verification code not found in email  Â
If you’ve chosen email as your authentication method and you cannot find your one-time verification code in email, your inbox may be full, your emails may be redirecting to spam, or you may have provided an incorrect email address. Â
Â
What should I do?Â
First, check to see if your inbox is full. If yes, clear out unnecessary emails to make space in your inbox. If it’s not your inbox storage, check your spam or junk folders and mark all emails with the address mpportal_donotreply@walmart.com as Not Spam.
Finally, double-check the email address or phone number associated with your account and update it if needed. Â
One-time verification code not found on authenticator app
If you’ve chosen to use an authenticator app as your authentication method and you haven’t received your one-time verification code on the app of your choice, you may need to restart and reopen the app.
What should I do? Â
Visit your Google Play or Apple App Store to update your authenticator app to the newest version. If your authenticator app crashes, try force restarting the app. If the problem persists, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
Delay in receiving one-time verification code Â
If you don’t receive your one-time password via email or via the authenticator app of your choice immediately after requesting it, you may have a connection issue.
Â
What should I do? Â
Check your internet connection. If you’re using mobile data, switch to wi-fi or vice versa. If you’re still unable to access your one-time verification code, we recommend trying again after 24 hours or see enable 2-step verification in Seller Center.Â
