The Listing Quality Dashboard provides insight that will help you understand how your items are performing based on variables that affect a consumer’s purchasing decisions.
How Does it Work?
Listing Quality refers to how customers view your published items. In Seller Center, the dashboard displays your overall average Listing Quality score, your post-purchase quality score, and details about your published items. Your Listing Quality score can change over time based on your Content & Discoverability, your Offer and your Ratings & Reviews.
To access this dashboard in Seller Center, select Listing Quality under Growth. Toggle the option to filter by Trending Items, which shows items that have generated customer demand, or Walmart Fulfilled Items. To view your item’s score breakdown, select Details next to the item name.

The dashboard landing page shows your overall average quality score, the breakdown of the components that make up your average listing quality, your post-purchase quality and provides item-level information for all your published items. You can choose to view trending items or all items that are published and, if you’re enrolled in WFS, you’ll see an option that allows you to view just your WFS items.
Post-Purchase Quality does not affect your Listing Quality score; however, we recommend that you keep the number of items offered that have Post-Purchase Quality issues as low as possible. The flagged items are based on the orders in a 90-day period, calculated from 120 days ago to 30 days ago, so orders within the return window are not included). For more details on Post-Purchase Quality, see below.
- Apply Trending Items filter to view only items that have generated consumer demand.
- Deselect Trending Items to view all items in your published catalog. Listing Quality and Post-Purchase Quality summary boxes will shift as you select or deselect the Trending Item and WFS filters.
Dashboard Information
The results displayed in the Listing Quality grid provide details that affect the item's score and contribute to your overall account score.

The grid displays the following information:
- Your Item – The title, SKU, and Item ID of the item. Easily copy the SKU and Item ID to search for the item in Seller Center.

- Competitive Price – Displays whether your item is priced lower, higher, or meeting external competing prices.
- Fast Shipping – Provides information about the item if you offer fast shipping (5 days or less). If you provide fast shipping, we will provide a high-level overview of how many regions you are providing fast shipping to. Utilize the shipping templates to enable more regions.
- Free Shipping – Provides information about the item if you offer free shipping. We will provide a high-level overview of how many regions you provide free shipping in if you provide free shipping. Utilize the shipping templates to enable more regions.

Customize View
You can customize the products presented in the grid view by Listing Quality ,Content & Discoverability, Offer, and Ratings & Reviews. You can also filter items by priority, whether an item is offering fast and free shipping and priced competitively. You can find these options by clicking Filter and choosing different options. You can choose to view items within a score percentage range by setting the score is between the option to your desired scores. Select + Add Filter to include additional scores.

Item Details
The Item Details view provides you with a detailed analysis that will help you understand your item’s quality. You can choose to view expanded details for each component that affects your overall quality score. In each component’s expanded view, you will receive recommendations on how to improve your score. Your Post-Purchase Quality does not affect your Listing Quality Score.

The calculation of your listing quality score can change over time as purchase patterns shift between the components. Component impact on the listing quality score may differ per item because the model analyzes a granular view of customer drivers to purchase similar items. The three categories in the breakdown section are not equally evaluated and the algorithm can be different for all categories of products.

Product Type
Item Product Types are automatically assigned by Walmart during item setup. Each item is assigned a Product Type which is used to determine commission rates (also referred to as Referral Fees) and Listing Quality recommendations. To learn more about commissions or referral fees, read the article Referral Fees for Contract Categories.
If you believe that the assigned Product Type is incorrect, review the Walmart.ca Content Standard Guides for more details about categories and make the necessary edits. If you’re still unable to make changes, open a Partner Support Case and suggest the correct category for your item.

Ratings & Reviews
The score is measure based on the number of customer ratings and reviews for the item. For more details about product reviews, please read the Customer Reviews Program article.

Content and Discoverability
- This section breaks down the variables that contribute to purchases. These tabs provide insights on areas where your item’s content can be improved. The number next to the title is a summary of the number of issues currently identified in the content and discoverability attributes.
- Content, or the way an item is presented on-site, is the first thing a customer sees so it must be accurate. The accuracy of various attributes influences whether an item is discoverable.
- Use the Edit button on each section which will redirect you to a page where you can edit your content & discoverability attributes to enhance the score.
- Users need write access in Seller Center, to be able to submit the changes using the Edit functionality.
Content
Content is separated into four main attributes that affect a consumer’s purchase decision: Item Name, Description, Key Features, and Images.
Discoverability Insights on how to make an item discoverable on a Walmart.ca search as well as on the left-hand navigation can be seen under Discoverability. This typically includes attributes such as brand, manufacturer part numbers, colors, and size (if applicable).

Content Issues & Definitions
The second column in the item details grid, Issues, informs sellers of what can be improved for each attribute. Below you will find the issues, their definitions, and, in some cases, suggestions for improvement. If there are multiple issues with an attribute, they are consolidated as ‘Multiple Issues. Click on the blue Multiple Issues text to expand the issues associated with the attribute.
Not all issues provided below are applicable for all product types or categories. Please review your issues and the definitions carefully.
We recommend reviewing the Item Setup Tips Seller help article for a comprehensive guide on how to set up your items successfully.
