As a Walmart Marketplace Canada seller you are solely responsible for independently setting and maintaining product price on Walmart.ca. We help Canadians save money so they can live better. Our customers trust our brand and expect value on Walmart.ca. Finding prices materially higher on Walmart.ca as compared to those same items elsewhere will disappoint our customers and negatively impact the overall shopping experience. For this reason, items that violate the following Pricing Policy rules may be subject to removal from Walmart.ca.
Price Leadership - Fair or Reasonable Price for an Item
It is a violation of Price Leadership if a customer saves money by purchasing the same item from other sellers on any other online sales channel, including the cost of shipping.
If your item is unpublished as a result of contravention of the above we will notify you through the Catalog> Unpublished Items page or the  Unpublished Items Report in Seller Center. An item may be republished where it no longer contravenes the above rules. These Pricing Policy Rules are designed to improve our mutual relationship with our customers and, over time, increases trust towards the Sellers and Walmart.ca. In the future, we may adjust our Pricing Policy Rules to continuously improve customer experience.

Egregious Shipping Cost
The Egregious Shipping Cost rule automatically unpublishes offers from Walmart.ca if the shipping fee associated with your offer is considered unacceptably high. Offers with low prices and unreasonably high shipping fees won’t be eligible for Walmart pricing incentives or site search. Walmart will unpublish any Marketplace offers that violate the Egregious Shipping Cost rule. Preventive and corrective actions may be taken as circumstances warrant for repeated violations of our Egregious Shipping Cost rules or for items with such unfair shipping fees, they could negatively impact customers and the overall shopping experience.
You’re limited to 10 shipping fee modifications per day for each Shipping Template. If you exceed this threshold, your Shipping Template will be locked for 24 hours. Wait 24 hours before proceeding to edit the existing template.
What to do when your item is unpublished:
- Check the Catalog> Unpublished items in Seller Center to identify any unpublished items. You can find the reason for removal by downloading an Item Report and looking at the Status Change Reason field. If you believe your item has been unpublished because the item was misidentified, verify that the item's Product ID is correct. If it is incorrect, fix the Product ID by following the directions in Updating a Product ID. Remember that packs should be created with their own Product ID, not using the Product ID of the items inside the pack.
- You may wish to update the price of your item so that it no longer contravenes the Pricing Policy Rules. If so, follow the directions in Updating Your Pricing Through Seller Center.
- If you believe that your item does not contravene the Pricing Policy Rules, please contact your Key Account Manager and provide the following information:
- Item ID
- Current Price
- Feed ID in which that price was sent
- The Status Change Reason from the Item Report
