Walmart Seller app: What’s an Expected Ship Date?
Last updated on Dec 11, 2024

Notes

Participation in the Walmart Seller app is by invitation-only and not available to all Marketplace sellers. If you’re interested in downloading the app, fill out this form.

The Expected Ship Date (ESD) is the date by which you must mark the order as Shipped with valid tracking information. The product should be shipped by this date so it reaches your customer by the promised delivery date.

Once you mark the order as Shipped in Seller Center or via APIs, Walmart will send a shipment notification to the customer. If the shipping confirmation is received on or before the ESD, the order is considered shipped on time.

You can view your ESD via the Walmart Seller app or desktop version. To learn more about ESD, visit Shipping & fulfillment policy.

Notes

Per Seller Performance Standards, you must maintain a Valid Tracking Rate (VTR) of 99% or greater. Repeated failures to meet the ESD may negatively impact your performance metrics.
