If you want to offer an item in new condition that isn’t being offered with a standard manufacturer warranty, you’ll need to set the item up as its own listing. In this guide, you’ll learn about warranty requirements for listings.Â
What is the policy?
Items that come with a manufacturer’s warranty must either include the manufacturer warranty in the offer or be listed separately with a clear disclosure stating otherwise.
Prior to creating a new warranty version item, search the catalog for existing items to avoid creating a duplicate listing. Â
Additional guidelines
You’re required to disclose the non-manufacturer warranty details in the product title, description and warranty details. Use the table below for examples of how to do so. Â
Any non-compliance may result in performance actions ranging from unpublishing listings, temporary suspension, return to vendor of Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) inventory at the seller’s expense or termination of your Marketplace account.Â
