Notes

Participation in the Walmart Seller app is by invitation only and not available to all Marketplace sellers. If you’re interested in downloading the app, fill out this form.

The Shipments page in the Walmart Seller app shows your inbound WFS shipments, including units shipped and destination fulfillment center. If you are eligible for international shipments, you will be able to toggle between domestic and international  shipments on this page.

From the Shipments page, select a specific shipment to see its details. Select View in the Items section within Shipment details to see the items included in a specific shipment, as well as a count of shipped and received units.

Search for a specific shipment by selecting the search icon on the Shipments page. If you have domestic shipments, you can search your shipments by shipment or inbound order ID. If you have domestic and international shipments, you can search your shipments by shipment ID, receiving ID or inbound order ID.

Notes

Not all features of this tool are available on the mobile app. To take action on a shipment, use the desktop version of Seller Center.

Glossary

  • Shipment ID: Tracks each domestic shipment within an inbound order. It usually ends in “GDM.”
  • Inbound Order ID: Tracks the bundle of domestic shipments or international containers that are in the same booking. This usually starts with the first 3 letters of your Seller name.

  • Receiving ID: Tracks items that will be received together at WFS. For international shipments, each container has its own receiving ID. The Receiving ID always ends in "GDM".

  • Status:

    • Created: The shipment is ready to send. If using your own carrier, add tracking details for live updates.

    • Awaiting transit: The shipment is at your warehouse and awaiting transportation.

    • In transit: Shipments on their way to a Walmart facility.

    • Arrived: Shipment has been delivered to a Walmart facility, but receiving has not started.

    • Receiving: Units we’re inspecting and storing at a fulfillment center. Correctly prepared items will be received within 2 business days from the time of delivery.

    • Closed: Shipments we finished receiving or closed due to no activity.

    • Canceled: Inbound orders you canceled.

    • Completed: Receiving is complete for the shipment.

    • Action required: Shipments that need to be finalized. Set up the shipment to fill in details or add tracking numbers.

    • Transfer in progress: The shipment has arrived at a transfer station. Track items to view transfer progress.

    • Issues: Receiving is delayed due to an issue with the shipment. Select the Received units number for a summary.

  • Expected delivery: The estimated delivery date you added when creating the inbound order. This date helps us plan labor and inventory space at each facility. It also determines the window for delivery scheduling and shipment cancellation.

  • Actual delivery: If the shipment is complete, the date the shipment arrived at the fulfillment center. Items need to be checked in and received before they're available to sell.
