With Walmart Marketplace’s Preorder program, you have the flexibility to list items up to 12 months in advance of their official market release. Once the product becomes available, it will be shipped to the customer on the release date. In this guide, you’ll learn how to set up Preorder items in Seller Center.
Participation in the Preorder program is by invitation-only and not available to all Marketplace sellers. If you're interested, you can apply for the Preorder program here.
Add Preorder items
Step 1 – Get started
Navigate to the Catalog page in Seller Center and select the Add items button. Next, under Create items, select the Create items button and choose your setup method: single or multiple items.
Step 2 – Add Preorder attributes
- Single items: If you choose to set up a single item, you must complete the Required to list fields first.
- Multiple items: Download the spreadsheet and complete all required sections first.
