Walmart strives to maintain a Marketplace that customers can trust and one that is legally compliant. This page and its embedded links identify certain products and categories that are ineligible for Walmart Fulfillment Services. All products listed for sale on Walmart Marketplace must comply with any applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Walmart will remove any product listing that may be in violation of any law, its policies, or that is incompatible with its brand. In addition, corrective actions may be taken as circumstances dictate, including suspension and/or termination of a seller's account. Some products referenced in this policy are prohibited unless a seller works with their account manager and Walmart compliance experts to obtain written approval to list and sell those items.
While Walmart strives to keep this policy current and as complete as practicable, not all prohibited products may be listed below. Walmart reserves the right to remove any product listing it determines violates the Marketplace Prohibited Products Policy and/or the WFS Prohibited Products Policy.
This WFS Prohibited Products Policy is subject to change without notice, so please check this page and the category-specific documents often. Sellers utilizing WFS are responsible for ensuring that their items comply with the WFS Prohibited Products Policy and any future amended or updated version.
Relationship to Marketplace Prohibited Products
WFS sellers must also adhere to the Prohibited Products Policy for Marketplace Sellers. Some products and categories that may be allowed in Marketplace (e.g., live plants) may be restricted or ineligible for WFS. Please review the Prohibited Products Policy for Marketplace Sellers in conjunction with the content on this page. To the extent there are inconsistencies between the Prohibited Products Policy for Marketplace Sellers and this policy, this policy shall govern when a Marketplace seller utilizes WFS.

Pesticides (any product intended or labeled to kill, repel, or mitigate any pest, virus, or bacteria)
Other Prohibited Products
In addition to products prohibited by category, the following items are also prohibited in WFS.
Alcoholic beverages
Ammunition
Bleach
Butane gas
Certain medicines
Charcoal
Fertilizers
Fire extinguishers
Household paints
Motor oil
Paint thinners
Syringes with needles*
Temperature-controlled items
Tires
*We don’t accept syringes with needles for devices that can be used for the delivery of a subcutaneous injection. Products intended for medical use can only be used by an authorized healthcare provider. However, the following items are permitted:
- Empty syringes
- Sewing needles
- Basting needles/syringes for cooking purposes
- Lancets
- Automotive/tire needles
