Buy shipping labels in Seller Center

Overview

If you self-fulfill your Marketplace orders, you can purchase discounted shipping labels within Seller Center by using Ship with Walmart or via Walmart APIs. For more information on how to buy shipping resources at competitively discounted rates using Walmart APIs, visit theĀ Developer Portal.

Notes

API support is available for USPS, FedEx and Yanwen. UPS isn't supported. Access to preferred carrier rates for eligible shipments are subject to Ship with Walmartā€™sā€ÆTerms of Service.ā€ÆYou can only purchase a shipping label through Walmart for orders that are in an unshipped status.Ā 

Buy a shipping label

Step 1 ā€” Get started

Navigate to theĀ OrdersĀ dashboard in Seller Center. Eligible orders are in the Unshippedā€Ætab. Select theā€ÆPurchase order#ā€Æ link in the appropriate row to open Order details.ā€Æā€ÆSelect theā€ÆShip items button to choose your shipping label preferences.ā€Æā€Æā€Æ


Step 2 ā€” Enter shipping label preferencesĀ 

Inā€ÆShipping details, selectā€ÆBuy a Shipping Label through Walmartā€Æ and choose your preferred package type and weight.ā€Æ

Select theā€ÆEstimate rateā€Æ button to calculate the estimated shipping label rates and delivery methods. The prices shown are estimates and may vary by the actual weight and size once scanned by the carrier. The final cost of the shipping label will be reflected in your Payments Statement Summary as aā€ÆWalmart Shipping Label Service Charge.ā€Æā€ÆĀ 

Notes

For custom requirements, youā€™ll need to verify and provide the From Address in Mandarin if youā€™reĀ shipping from China. Additionally, you must accurately select package content information and verify the description of theĀ package contents in Mandarin. Ā 

The first time you use Ship with Walmart to print your shipping label, youā€™ll need to agree to our Terms of Service and any terms and agreements required by our carriers and partners. You may see an agreement popup window if any of the terms agreed to are updated or changed. Once youā€™ve read and agreed to all required terms, select the Accept and Submit buttons.ā€Æ

Step 3 ā€” Enter shipping detailsĀ 

Choose your preferred delivery method and selectā€ÆConfirm and Continue. Make sure youā€™ve measured and weighed your items carefully and selected the correct package type.ā€Æ

Notes

If you buy a shipping label from USPS, you'll be charged at the time of label creation and will receive a refund for any unused labels. For all other delivery methods (except USPS), you wonā€™tĀ be charged until the label is scanned by the carrier.ā€ÆYouā€™re responsible for any applicable charges resulting from misclassification or reclassification because of incorrect package type, size or weight.Ā 

Step 4 ā€” Print labelĀ Ā 

Once your label has been generated, select theā€ÆPrint labelā€Æ link at the top right.ā€ÆIf you need to make any changes to the order after the shipping label has been generated, selectā€ÆDiscard Labelā€Æ and restart the label purchasing process.Ā 

After youā€™ve printed your label and are ready to ship, select theā€ÆMark as Shipped button in Order details. Once you mark the order as shipped, the label canā€™t be canceled or modified.ā€Æā€Æā€ÆĀ ā€ÆĀ 

Notes

If youā€™re shipping from China to U.S., after youā€™re ready with the shipment, you can call Yanwen offline (if you already have a contact) or navigate to Yanwenā€™s portal to schedule a pickup. You can also look for the pickup coverage through the portal.ā€ÆĀ
