You can correct a duplicate listing by  updating the item’s product ID and resubmitting the updated item data in Seller Center or via Walmart APIs. If you are having trouble finding the correct product ID, contact the manufacturer or visit the manufacturer’s site.  

Duplicate listings clutter search and browse results on Walmart.com and make it harder for customers to find the product they want. Also, search engine optimization (SEO) is dependent on accurate product IDs. If an item is not set up with the correct product ID, it may not perform as well in Google searches. 

Pay attention when assigning product identifiers to your items. Some items with different variant attributes such as quantity, size, color, or flavor should have different product IDs (e.g., a pack of six boxes of tissues should have a different product ID than a pack of four boxes). If you confirm that a product ID does not exist for your specific variant, you can purchase a new one. Don’t use different product IDs to produce separate listings for the same item for your supply chain or other internal needs.

Search the manufacturer’s site or other online sources for product ID verification. If you still can’t find it, contact the manufacturer directly to confirm the correct product ID.
