If you come across an irrelevant or inappropriate product or seller review that was left on one of your Walmart Marketplace listings, you may be eligible to have it removed. Walmart can't modify customer reviews but if the review meets the removal criteria, we may be able to remove it from Walmart.com. In this guide, you’ll learn about the different situations when a review can be removed and you’ll find out how to submit your request.
Eligibility criteria
To request the removal a review, one of the following conditions must exist:
Incorrect star rating: The stars do not match the sentiment expressed. For instance, the review says that the seller is excellent but the seller received a 2-star rating.
Inappropriate feedback: The review contains a comment that is inappropriate or vulgar, such as profanity or slander.
Walmart issue: The review reflects a negative experience caused by a Walmart system issue at no fault of the seller. These requests must include supporting evidence.
What should I do?
If your circumstance falls within one of the criteria listed above, create a case for Seller Support through the following path: My Account > Performance Issues > Report Inaccurate Reviews.
Customers can leave a “Ratings Only" review. Walmart does not require a comment with seller ratings. If the customer does not leave a comment, the review will not be removed.
