Overview

Walmart makes it easy for brand owners to quickly protect their intellectual property on Walmart.com. In this guide, you’ll learn how to use the Walmart Brand Portal to manage your various brands, submit multiple types of intellectual property claims and track claim status.

Register your brand

Step 1 – Get started

If you meet the eligibility requirements listed above, you can register #here using your existing Seller Center credentials. The information must be consistent with what’s listed on your trademark registration.

Step 2 – Provide your brand details

Select the checkbox next to I have read and agree to the Terms of Use, then choose Continue.

Step 3 – Submit

After confirming the information you’ve provided is accurate, choose Confirm and Submit. Walmart will review your application. You can check the status of your application at any time by logging in to your Brand Portal account.

How do I submit intellectual property claims if I don’t have a Walmart Brand Portal account?

How do I report unauthorized sellers?

Walmart runs on a unified catalog and therefore resellers can appear and sell on the same listing. Walmart doesn't intervene in any authorized or unauthorized reseller arrangements. Additionally, Walmart doesn't take a position as to the enforcement of any contractual relationship between third-party sellers and their suppliers or between a claimant and Walmart’s suppliers.  

We encourage you to contact the sellers directly to resolve the matter. You can find their contact information by scrolling down the listing and choosing the specific seller’s name. 

I have previously registered trademarks with Supplier One. Can I link these with my Marketplace account?

Yes. If you're utilizing the same email address for both your Supplier One and Marketplace accounts, you'll get an option to connect these accounts once you log into Brand Portal. However, if you've used different email addresses for your Supplier One and Marketplace accounts, you'll need to invite the email address you used for Supplier One as an administrator from within Brand Portal. This action will initiate the connection between Marketplace and Supplier accounts during your next login. Your updates will be recognized with brand owner privileges while using both Supplier and Marketplace tooling through connecting accounts.

Alternatively, you can also register the same trademarks that were previously registered in Supplier One in the Brand Portal if you're not able to connect accounts.
