Overview

The Repricer lets you enable automatic price adjustments for items in your catalog. You can easily maximize gross merchandise value (GMV), create custom strategies, assign eligible items, monitor performance and qualify for Referral Fee discounts. In the guide, you’ll learn about the different pricing strategies you can apply to your SKUs.

Notes:

You must first accept the Automate Pricing Terms & Conditions authorizing Walmart to adjust your item prices on your behalf.

How does it work?

The Automate pricing page is where you can create Repricer strategies for your items based on the rules you set or AI-powered automation. Once you’ve created a strategy, it’ll automatically be applied to that item. For example, you could create a rule to meet or beat the winning Buy Box price on Walmart.com or match external price strategies.

Notes:

The AI-powered Repricer strategy is only available for eligible sellers and items at Walmart’s discretion.

When creating a strategy, you can choose to use an AI-powered strategy to automatically adjust your prices to grow your GMV.

Additionally, you can choose from the following price comparison options to create a custom strategy.

Price comparison options

Offer

Walmart Buy Box and external retailers

This strategy applies your pricing adjustment using whichever is lower between the Buy Box price or competing retailer sites (item price + shipping).

Walmart Buy Box only

This strategy applies your pricing adjustment using only the Buy Box price.

External retailers only

This strategy applies your pricing adjustment using the lowest price on competing retailer sites (item price + shipping).

Notes:

The Repricer will only adjust the item price and doesn’t change your shipping price. Allow up to four hours for prices to be adjusted after uploading an item and selecting a strategy.

The Repricer overview section of the dashboard provides insight into your pricing health over a 7-, 30-, 60- or 90-day period. Learn more in the table below.

Notes:

You’ll see a 90-day overview by default. Use the dropdown to adjust your overview timeframe.

Additional guidelines

You can follow the steps in this guide to create your first strategy.

You can review the strategy preview to simulate how your pricing logic would apply to sample data. It shows your Current price, Buy Box price, External retail price, Comparison price used, Adjustment applied and your New price after applying the selected adjustment. Items must have a minimum and maximum price entered to be assigned to a strategy.

You can also review an item's price history through the Current Price column. You may pause or delete a strategy at any time through the Action column.

If available, you may have item-level Repricer suggestions from Walmart within the Top suggestions for you section. These suggestions are ranked according to your catalog’s GMV earning potential.
