Overview

If you need to quickly update your item’s content, you can do so right from your Catalog in Seller Center. However, because there may be multiple sellers providing content for the same item, you may not always be able to define which content will be displayed on Walmart.com.

Walmart will determine the best available content for items unless it's provided by a brand owner or authorized reseller. Items that cannot be updated will appear locked during the updating process.

Update a Single Item

Step 1 – Get Started

Log in to your Seller Center account. Navigate to your Catalog and select the checkbox beside the item you want to update then select Edit items from the menu bar. 

Step 2 – Update Item Details

Within the edit menu, you can edit details about your item including the description, image and more. When you’re done, select Submit to save.

Pro tip

Improve your content by selecting View Content under the AI powered content suggestions. Choose Accept to apply suggestions.

Why am I not able to submit changes to my item’s content?

How can I make bulk updates?

I updated my content, but I don’t see the changes yet. What’s going on?

Updates can appear as quickly as 15 minutes or can take up to four hours. If it has been more than four hours, check the Activity feed to ensure the update was successful. Also, your content may not update if there are multiple sellers providing content for the same item. Walmart will determine the best available content for items, unless provided by a brand owner or authorized reseller.
