Selling stolen property on Walmart Marketplace is strictly prohibited. In this guide, you’ll learn about the stolen property policy and what you should do if you suspect your own stolen property is being sold on Walmart.com.
What is the policy?
Walmart strictly prohibits the sale of stolen property on Walmart Marketplace.  Walmart will cooperate with law enforcement to address any attempts to sell stolen property on its platform. If you list stolen property on Walmart Marketplace, you may be subject to including, but not limited to, account suspension and/or termination.Â
Additional guidelines
If you suspect that your stolen property is being sold on Walmart Marketplace, you should report your stolen property to your local police department or relevant law enforcement agency. Then use this form to report the claim to Walmart. Make sure to include as much information as possible, such as the location, date, time, value, serial numbers, etc. Finally, attach a copy of the law enforcement report including the investigating agent’s email address.Â
If your business is located in California, you should also file a report with the California Office of the Attorney General by using this form.
