Before you ship your products to customers, you’ll need to set up your shipping settings and define rules for each region you deliver to. Simplified Shipping Settings is one option that you can use to ship your items and avoid late deliveries due to carrier issues. In this guide, you’ll learn how Simplified Shipping Settings works.
You must offer free shipping for this program. Most domestic USPS, UPS and FedEx services are supported.
How does it work?
When your fulfillment settings are updated to include your most-frequently used carriers, shipping methods and fulfillment locations, Simplified Shipping Settings uses real-time carrier transit data to help you close the gap between your actual and promised delivery times.
With Simplified Shipping Settings you can:

Additional guidelines
Simplified Shipping Settings also helps protect your On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance metrics to help keep you in good standing with Walmart's Seller Performance Standards when there are disruptions with your shipping carrier.
If you meet the following Simplified Shipping Settings criteria, your On-Time Delivery performance metric will not be impacted by carrier delays out of your control:

On-Time Shipping | 100% of your orders were shipped on or before the Estimated Ship Date (ESD). |
Carrier method accuracy | 100% of your orders were shipped using your selected carrier method. |
Ship from location accuracy | 100% of your orders were shipped from the recommended fulfillment center location. |
You can track your performance in real time via the Performance dashboard in Seller Center.
Your preferred shipping and carrier settings directly impact your performance. Visit your order details for recommendations on how to improve your metrics. If you're using the Orders API to process orders, check your API settings to make sure your ship from location and carrier methods are accurate.
