Walmart Seller app
As a Marketplace seller, you’re responsible for choosing a carrier method for delivery of your items, unless you choose to ship with Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS). In this guide, you’ll learn about our Walmart-approved freight carriers and how to ship items via freight if your items meet the requirements.
How does it work?
If an item's weight is greater than 150 pounds, you’re required to ship it via freight. Consider using one of the following Walmart-approved carriers for freight and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments:

Valid tracking information must be provided to Walmart.com customers for more than 99% of your Marketplace orders, per Walmart’s seller performance standards.
Additional guidelines
If you’ve determined that using a freight carrier is right for you, follow these next steps.
Choose your preferred carrier from the list above.
- Contact the carrier for their pre-assigned PRO number (a seven-to-10-digit number used to track and organize shipments).
- Provide Bill of Lading (BOL) samples to your warehouse for reference.
- Prepare the order and packaging as you would for any LTL ground transportation shipment.
