Overview

As a Marketplace seller, you have five shipping method options to ship orders to customers: Value, Standard, TwoDay, OneDay or Freight shipping. You must support a minimum of one shipping method to ship your Marketplace items unless you choose to ship with Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS). Learn more about each shipping method below.

How does it work?

Value (6–7-day transit time)

Value shipping is the default shipping method used in the Default Shipping Template. Default Shipping Template settings are applied to your entire catalog unless you create a Custom or Paid Shipping Template. You can’t charge customers a shipping fee when using Value shipping. Value shipping is supported in all 50 states plus Washington D.C.

Notes

Value shipping can be disabled by creating a Paid Standard Shipping Template.

Standard (3–5-day transit time)

When you use Standard shipping, you can charge the customer a shipping fee or offer free shipping. If you charge a shipping fee for standard shipping, that item will not be eligible for benefits such as a boost in search results or Buy Box prominence.

TwoDay (2-day transit time)

TwoDay shipping is available to eligible Walmart Marketplace sellers who’ve met the performance criteria. You can’t charge customers a shipping fee when using TwoDay shipping. There are two ways to opt in, primarily based on how you manage fulfillment:

  • Seller-Managed: You manage your fulfillment network, shipping items from your warehouses, and possibly via additional fulfillment providers for some items.

  • Third-Party-Managed: You use our approved, third-party provider to fulfill all orders on your behalf.

If you’re interested in TwoDay shipping, you can request access in Seller Center.

OneDay (1-day transit time)

OneDay shipping is available to eligible Walmart Marketplace sellers who've met the performance criteria or who've already been approved for TwoDay shipping. With OneDay shipping, you have the option to charge the customer a shipping fee or offer free shipping.
If you’re interested in OneDay shipping, you can request access in Seller Center.

Freight shipping (6-10-day transit time)

Large and bulky items that require less-than-truckload (LTL) shipping must be configured through Freight shipping. When you use Freight shipping, you can charge the customer a shipping fee or offer free shipping.
