Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS)
Ship with Walmart offers shipping insurance for packages through EasyPost. You can purchase EasyPost insurance for all your Ship with Walmart label purchases, across all supported carriers. This guide provides a high-level overview of EasyPost’s insurance coverage and how you can purchase the insurance.
Any insurance coverage purchased for your order is a service purchased directly from EasyPost and not Walmart. EasyPost is responsible, and any claims must be made through EasyPost.
How does it work?
Ship With Walmart insurance provided by EasyPost covers lost, damaged or stolen items up to $5,000. Coverage applies only to packages shipped within the domestic U.S. and starts at 0.33% of an item’s full value. The minimum insurance coverage is $100; any insurance purchased for items with a value below this threshold will be billed at this minimum.
Insurance coverage is no longer valid after 30 days. If you don’t ship the order and use the label within 30 days, the insurance fee will be automatically credited back to your account.
Additional guidelines
Once you’ve followed the steps outlined in Buy shipping labels in Seller Center to create your shipping label, scroll down to Add ons, located under Other delivery options. Select the box next to Insurance if you’d like to add insurance for this label, then select the Confirm and continue button.
