Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS)
Walmart monitors the performance of Marketplace and WFS sellers. We may suspend or terminate your seller account if you don't meet performance standards or comply with Walmart policies and terms of service.
Your responsibilities
- Understand and comply with Walmart policies, including seller performance standards and WFS terms of service
- Review your seller account performance regularly in Seller Center
- Proactively improve any performance metrics that do not meet standards
- Keep your inventory return settings up to date in Seller Center
Alerts for poor performance
Marketplace sellers must meet key performance metrics. It is the seller's responsibility to review account performance and proactively take action to improve any performance metrics that are not meeting standards. For details, see Seller performance standards.
Account suspension
If your account is suspended, Walmart will send a suspension notice to the contact listed in your Partner Profile in Seller Center. The suspension notice will include the suspension reason and steps to appeal, if eligible.
You may submit an appeal and a Business Plan of Action to reinstate your selling privileges. To submit an appeal, open a support case for Seller Support. Walmart Marketplace will review the appeal and communicate a decision to you by replying to your case.
Account termination
Walmart Marketplace may decide to terminate your account for policy noncompliance, standards violations, or ongoing performance issues.
If your seller account is terminated, Walmart will send you a notice of termination. Seller Support will then contact you to confirm your inventory return preferences. Your returns address for Walmart-fulfilled returns must be up to date in Seller Center.
We’ll provide a tracking number when your return shipments are finalized. Your inventory will be returned to you within 30 calendar days.
Walmart will not accept appeals for termination. Your product listings will be deactivated accordingly.
