Overview

You must configure your operating schedule and order cutoff time for each of your active fulfillment centers in Seller Center to define the timeframe in which you will stop receiving orders on a given day. In this guide, you’ll learn about order processing requirements and how to stop processing orders if your fulfillment center is closed.

Notes:

Weekends are auto-selected and don't appear in Office Closure Dates.

How does it work?

Order cutoff times define the daily deadline after which new orders will no longer be accepted. You’re required to support shipments until 11:00 am in your local time zone, at least five days per week. Your preferred days must be selected for each of your active fulfillment centers.

Pro tip

If you have multiple fulfillment centers in different time zones, select the time that will provide the best order cutoff time across all your facilities.

If you haven’t set up your schedule, your fulfillment centers will have a default order cutoff time of 2:00 pm in your local time zone and you’ll automatically be enrolled to support all business days, Monday through Friday. To modify your operating schedule, visit the  Seller Fulfillment  dashboard in Seller Center.

Notes:

If your fulfillment lag time settings are greater than zero, the order cutoff time will not be used to determine the Expected Ship Date.

Additional guidelines

If you need to stop processing orders on days your fulfillment center is closed, update these details within your Additional Days Off  calendar in Seller Center.

Additional Days Off are when operations are closed, including holidays. You'll continue to receive orders during this time, but the fulfillment dates are set after your return. You should fulfill these orders as soon as possible. You're limited to 30 days off per fulfillment center per calendar year.
