Prohibited Products Policy: Tobacco, e-cigarettes and vaping products
Last updated on Nov 12, 2024

Overview

Products subject to this Tobacco, E-Cigarettes and Vaping Products policy must also adhere to Walmart’s Prohibited Products Policy and Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia policy. Walmart will automatically unpublish any item that violates these policies.

What is the policy?

Tobacco products of any kind, including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars (including “cigarettes” and “cigars” made from candy, gum or non-tobacco herbs), e-cigarettes, vaping products (see below), smokeless tobacco (see below) and certain tobacco-related products and accessories (collectively, “Tobacco Products”) are prohibited from sale on Walmart Marketplace.

Vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-cigars and e-pipes are some of the many tobacco product terms used to describe electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS).

Generally, these products use an “e-liquid” that usually contains nicotine derived from tobacco or another source, as well as flavorings, propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin and other ingredients. The liquid is heated to create an aerosol that is inhaled.

To be clear, Tobacco Products (as defined above) are prohibited from sale on Walmart Marketplace.
