Products subject to our policy on Plastic – Biodegradable must also adhere to other prohibited products policies or Walmart will automatically unpublish your item. 

What is the policy?

Plastic products and bioplastic products that make environmental marketing claims such as "biodegradable" or "compostable" are prohibited on Walmart Marketplace. Walmart strives to maintain a trusted marketplace that is free from false or misrepresented environmental marketing claims and to comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Plastic and bioplastic products labeled as: Biodegradable. Degradable. Compostable. Decomposable. Any form of these terms. Plastic and bioplastic packaging claiming to be: Biodegradable. Degradable. Compostable. Decomposable. Any form of these terms. Plastic Products that make environmental claims as related to the biodegradability, degradability, or composability of any plastic product.	Plastic products or products containing plastic that do not contain the claim to be compostable or biodegradable.
