Prohibited Products Policy: Firearm accessories

Products subject to our policy on Firearm Accessories must also adhere to other Prohibited Products Policies including our policy on FirearmsFirearm Ammunition, and Game Guns or Walmart will automatically unpublish your item.  

What is the policy? 

In general, firearm accessories not strictly used for hunting purposes, are prohibited on Walmart Marketplace. For the purpose of this policy, "Firearm Accessories" means any item that is used in conjunction with or mounted on a firearm but is not essential to the basic function of the firearm. The term includes magazines, holsters, targets, and bulletproof gear.

  • Vertical grips 

  • Pistol grips 

  • Grip sleeves 

  • Weapon lights 

  • Lasers 

  • Infrared illuminators 

  • Vinyl wraps for assault rifles/handguns/magazines 

  • Flash hiders 

  • Muzzle brakes 

  • Compensators 

  • Auto sears 

  • Bayonets 

  • Speedloaders 

  • Magazines 

  • Magazine springs 

  • Magazine baseplates 

  • Magwells  

Holsters and Apparel Designed to Conceal Firearms: 

  • Concealed carry holsters 

  • Inside-the-waistband (IWB) holsters 

  • Holsters marketed for both open and concealed carry 

  • Concealed carry jackets 

  • Concealed carry pants/leggings 

  • Belly bands 

  • Shoulder holsters 

  • Concealed/IWB magazine holsters 

  • Concealed carry purses 

  • Concealed carry backpacks/briefcases 

 

Tactical Firearm Accessories: 

  • Tactical gun cases 

  • Tactical backpacks 

  • Tactical range bags 

  • Tactical/duty holsters 

  • Tactical slings 

  • Plate carriers 

  • Bulletproof plates/pads 

  • Bulletproof apparel and backpacks   

Targets such as: 

  • Human/silhouette shaped targets 

  • Tannerite targets 

Any items marketed for or depicted with ‘Assault Rifles’ 

Firearm Accessories such as: 

  • Scopes/sights for hunting rifles or shotguns 

  • Optics not marketed for handguns or assault rifles
  • Slings for hunting rifles or shotguns 

  • Cases/bags for hunting rifles or shotguns  

  • Recoil pads for hunting rifles or shotguns 

  • Hunting vests 

  • Bullseye or animal targets 

  • Monopods/bipods/tripods 

  • Gun Safes/Vaults that do not depict ‘Assault Rifles’ 

  • Gun/Trigger Locks 

  • Firearm Cleaning Kits
