Walmart’s Returns Shipping Service (RSS) is the default label printing option for Marketplace returns and is applied to any item that is returned to a Walmart store. This service allows you to use special, discounted rates for return shipments of products sold to customers on Walmart.com. Keep reading for more information on this policy.
What is the policy?
Walmart isn’t liable for any loss or damage to a package shipped using RSS. You’re responsible for filing a claim with FedEx for any package that was lost or damaged during transit to the return center location you provided. RSS packages that are undeliverable or cannot otherwise be returned to your return center by FedEx may be disposed of or destroyed at Walmart’s discretion without notice.
Per the Returns Policy, you're responsible for listing a valid/correct return center address. If the address is invalid, your packages may be re-routed to Walmart facilities, and you’ll be responsible for all associated charges. All disputes will be denied, and you won’t be able to obtain your package from a Walmart facility.
If necessary, Walmart may terminate or suspend your participation in RSS with 30 days prior written notice. If terminated or suspended, you’ll remain responsible for any costs or charges existing or accrued at or prior to the date of suspension or termination.
Your business will be listed as the shipper of record.
