Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS)
Whenever you create or update items in Seller Center (such as updates to price, inventory, lag time or Shipping Templates), you’ll receive a Feed ID that can be used to track item setup and view maintenance activity on the Activity Feed dashboard. The dashboard will help you identify whether the submission was successful or if an error occurred during the uploading process. Errors typically occur if you’re missing required information or if your file is too large.
How does it work? Â
If you upload a file that is too large or submit too many updates within one hour, you may encounter an error. Specific feed limits are listed in the table below.   Â
Â
Feed Type | Operation | Maximum feeds per hour/day | Maximum file size per feed | Number of items per feed | Processing time per feed |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Item Feed  | Bulk create or update items  | 10/hour  | 25 MB  | 10,000  | 4 hours  |
Single Item (UI)  | Single item creation in Seller Center  | 10/hour  | N/A  | 1  | 4 hours  |
Price Feed  | Bulk price update  | 10/hour  | 10 MB  | 10,000  | 4 hours   |
Inventory Feed  | Bulk inventory update  | 10/hour  | 5 MB  | 50,000  | 30 minutes  |
Promo Feed  | Bulk promotions update  | 6/day  | 10 MB  | 10,000  | 4 hours  |
Lag Time Feed  | Bulk lag time update for items  | 6/day  | 5 MB  | 10,000  | 4 hours  |
Shipping Template  | Bulk Map SKUs to Shipping Templates  | 10  | 10 MB  | 10,000  | 4 hours  |
The maximum feeds allowed per day (throttle limits) may be reduced during high-volume periods (holidays, sales, etc.). These limits will be communicated to your teams when they are in effect. Â
Additional guidelines
You can view errors in Seller Center or download an error report.
To view errors in Seller Center, select a number in the Errors column. You’ll see a popup window with the errors within that feed, along with a list of the SKUs and the corresponding errors.
To download an error report, select a download icon in the Error report column. This will download a spreadsheet of your errors as an XLSX or CSV file, which you can open with Microsoft Excel. Walmart recommends using this report when there are several errors to review and fix.Â
Once you review the errors, use the error messaging to either:Â
Fix the root of the problem at the source level by updating your original feed and resubmitting it. Â
Create and submit a new feed that only includes the items that had errors. Submit the feed when completed.
For additional insight into errors that indicate that your item has been flagged by Trust and Safety Policies, navigate to the Pending Review dashboard.
