Overview

Interactive or multimedia content, also known as rich media, enhances the customer experience by dynamically sharing product features. In this guide, you'll learn about the types of rich media you can use on Walmart.com, which hosting services are available and how you can submit rich media.  

How does it work?

By adding rich media to your product listings, you can improve search results, increase order conversions and reduce returns. This table lists the different types of rich media that can be used on Walmart Marketplace.

360-spin images

A series of still photos that gives the impression of an object rotating. This feature allows a customer to drag a product image in any direction to view the product from all angles.

Video

An effective video demonstrates key information about the product and can help customers retain more information about your product.  

Below-the-fold content

If you're a registered brand, you can engage shoppers with eye-catching images, immersive videos and interactive carousels in the About the brand section of your item page. Below-the-fold content (content that's displayed at the bottom half of a listing) is only available for registered brands working with an approved Connected Content Solution Provider.

Additional guidelines

When you’re ready, you can upload rich media in Seller Center using the Media library, or you can contact an approved Connected Content Solution Provider to have them manage the upload for you. Before you submit, review the submission checklist and technical requirements to ensure eligibility.
