While adding a new item in Seller Center, you may need to pause what you’re doing and complete your work later. Seller Center gives you the option to save an item draft for up to 180 days. This guide shows you how to update and publish an item draft you’ve already saved.Â
How to update an item draft
Step 1 — Access your saved drafts
Navigate to your Catalog page. Select the Filters button, then Status, and choose the Drafts button. Apply the filter to browse only your saved drafts.

Step 2 — Update & submit the item draft
Select the item you want to complete, then select Edit Item. Make your changes, then select either Save as Draft to save the item in draft format again or select Submit.
When you create a draft, it’s available for 180 days in Seller Center. After that, it gets deleted. While you can’t manually delete a draft you no longer need, it will automatically delete after the 180-day window.Â
