If you no longer offer an item or if there’s an issue that requires your item to be removed from Walmart.com, you can retire it in Seller Center. You must have admin access in Seller Center to retire items. In this guide, we’ll show you how to retire an item and keep its data.
Retire items individually
If you use Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS), you’ll first need to remove inventory from fulfillment centers. Once the inventory has been shipped back to you or disposed of, you can retire the item. Â
Step 1 – Get started
Navigate to your Catalog in Seller Center. Search for your item using the SKU, Item ID, Item Name, GTIN or UPC.
Step 2 – Retire the item
Once you’ve found the item you want to retire, select the three horizontal dots next to the item. Select Retire item and confirm your decision. It may take up to 48 hours to process your request.
You can retire items from Walmart.com even if your account is suspended. If you have admin access and Retire item isn’t appearing, clear your web browser cache and cookies and check again. You can only retire items that are not Retired, Archived, or Draft.Â

Open the template and navigate to the Site End Date column. To retire an item, change its Site End Date to a date in the past.Â

Step 3 – Upload the template
