What is the Policy?

Walmart Canada prohibits the sale of certain class of laser products on our marketplace. High powered hand-held lasers are considered a danger to human health or safety. Their import or sale is prohibited under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. Hand-held Class 3B and 4 laser pointers are considered a danger to human health or safety under the CCPSA.

Any laser devices power 5mW or more (Class 3B-4)

Laser engravers 5mW or more

Professional use medical products such as surgical lasers

Laser Cutting/Drilling Machine 5mW or more

Laser Marking Machine 5mW or more

Welding Laser Machine 5mW or more

Entertainment laser light show projectors 5mW or more

Any laser bore sights fit for a prohibited caliber; regardless of mW - 9mm, .38, .380, .25, .32, .40, .357, .44, .45, 410 Judge, .223, 5.56mm, .224, 7.62x39mm, 300 Blackout.

Laser pointers 5mW or less

Laser Paper Printers

Self-Leveling Laser Kit

Leveler Measuring Tool

Strobe lights 5mW or less

Bicycle LED/Laser lights 5mW or less

Laser Rangefinder

Laser Bore sights that do not reference a caliber or mW
