We have worked hard to build a convenient, transparent, easy-to-use eCommerce fulfillment program that third-party sellers and brands can trust, which will allow them to have control over their business. Yes. Currently, we can only onboard sellers who are already live on our Marketplace. To get started, please submit your application to be a Marketplace seller here. Even if you plan to only fulfill your items through WFS, you must be first registered to be a Marketplace seller.

 WFS will only fulfill items sold on Walmart.ca at this time. However, we will pilot the fulfillment of additional platforms in the future. 

We recommend that our WFS sellers bring their best-selling items to Walmart.ca. Our best practices indicate that GMV growth is best achieved by setting up a minimum of 50 SKUs and replenishing inventory continuously. In addition, please prioritize SKUs that are priced greater than $35 as Walmart customers get free shipping above that pricing threshold. 

Please make sure that participating items are priced in accordance with our Marketplace Pricing Policy Also, since WFS has free shipping for all items above $35, we are seeing a much better conversion for these items as it reduces drop-off after cart additions.

Products with multiple offers on Walmart.ca may not fit the program well. Also, we do not recommend including products with poor item page content, as those listings may not convert well. Items with a price less than $35 are not a good fit. 

Sellers can increase their revenue by implementing the suggestions below: 

• Prioritize items and brands new to Walmart.ca.
• Select products that are priced competitively.
• Look at the existing item assortment to see which ones are gathering traction and identify opportunities. 
• Ensure high-quality item page content. We have seen that items that have comprehensive, trustworthy reviews tend to outperform competitors.
• Provide enough inventory to meet customer demand.
• Ensure participating items meet Walmart Marketplace guidelines for prohibited/restricted products.

 At this time, there are no minimum requirements. We recommend setting up at least 50 items with continuous inventory replenishment to see the full value and GMV growth. There will be replenishment recommendations once your item is live, which can help in inventory planning.

There are no current minimums or limitations on the amount of product you can send to our fulfillment center. However, this is subject to change as the program expands.

Our standard referral fees per category type still apply. WFS fees are in addition to Marketplace referral fees.

WFS items are displayed with a "Fulfilled by Walmart" tag to indicate that Walmart fulfills these Marketplace orders. We see a significant boost to Marketplace items due to this differentiated branding.

Walmart follows the Free and Easy Returns program for WFS, similar to 'sold and shipped by Walmart' products. All return shipping labels are configured to return to Walmart Return Centers for inspection and handling.

Sellers can send inventory to Walmart Fulfillment Centers (FCs) with a carrier of their choice, or they can leverage the Walmart Preferred Carrier (WPC) Program.

We ship in standard Walmart-branded packaging.

Yes. WFS currently has fulfillment centers in Mississauga and Calgary. We are in the process of activating more centers across Canada. You can place inventory in all of the eligible locations as per demand suggested recommendations.

WFS delivers across Canada. However, items stocked solely in the Calgary FC and not in the Mississauga FCs will be unavailable to our maritime province (NB, NS, PEI, NF) customers. Please ensure you maintain inventory in the Mississauga FCs for complete coverage. If you're unable to do so, these orders will need to be seller-fulfilled.

No. At this time, we only ship orders to addresses within Canada.
