Both attribution and categorization are integral to determining how your item will appear in search and browse results on Walmart.com and on other search engines like Google. Learn how to maximize your item’s performance by choosing the correct product category and providing high-quality attribution where it matters most, like in your Product Title, Description, and Key Features.

Pro tips

The product category you choose during item setup also determines the rate at which you are charged for selling your items on Walmart Marketplace (also known as Referral Fees).
