This guide will help you to upload products one by one.
Add single products in Seller Center
1. Add single products
Choose this feature to upload products one by one.
• Log in Seller Center.
- Go to https://seller.walmart.com and enter your Email (Correo electrónico) and Password (Contraseña).
- Click on Iniciar Sesión (Log in)
Can’t remember your password?
Click on ¿Olvidó su contraseña? (Forgot Your Password?) and follow the steps to reset your access credentials.
• Complete the information about your product
- Start by clicking on the Build your Catalog blue button.
- Select Add Items.
- Under the title Search the Walmart catalog, click on Create a new item.
- Fill in the required information.
- Select Product Type from the dropdown menu and fill in the field Product ID.

- Register the Product Name. This is the name that will be published in Walmart Marketplace Chile.
- Recomended and Optional fields are not mandatory to fill in. Check the boxes only if you need to add extra information about the product.
- When you select the Product type and add the Product ID, you can also pick the Category in the dropdown menu.
- The information must be written in Spanish.
- A new tab will be displayed for you to complete the information according to specific details of the chosen category.
- Once you complete the field, you will see a verification green ticket that confirms that you can go to the next tab: Imagery & Media.
All fields (*) are mandatory.
Values expressed in thousands must not contain commas (,) or periods (,) (e.g. 12990).
Values expressed in decimals must be separated by a period (.) (e.g.: 12.90).
If the product doesn’t have an specific brand, you can complete the Brand field using Genérico (Generic).
Don’t forget to select the type of ID Product and properly register the code (both fields are required). Otherwise, the creation process could be interrupted.
Electrical products must include specifications. The voltage allowed in Chile is 220 V and 50Hz. If your product does not comply with that voltage, you must inform the clients about the need for an adapter in the item description.
Follow the spelling rules when completing the information and use capital letters only when appropriate.
The power sockets in Chile are of type C (two round pins ) and L (three round pins). If the plug of your product does not match this type, you must include it in the product description adding that an adapter must be purchased.
• Refurbished products.
- You must include the term Refurbished in the product name.
Example:
Spanish: Smartphone S20 128 GB Reacondicionado
English: Refurbished Smartphone S20 128 GB.
- When you fill the item information, we suggest to fill in the field Condición de Producto and select Reacondicionado (Refurbished).
Also, add the following information related to guarantee in the Description field by copying and pasting the text:
Spanish:
- Este es un producto reacondicionado. Ten en consideración que a diferencia de otros productos, este artículo no tiene garantía ni garantía de satisfacción.
English:
- This is a refurbished product. Please keep in mind that unlike new products, this item doesn´t have guarantee and it is also excluded from the satisfaction guarantee.

• Add an image or an Inpage by HTML code to your product description.
Improve your publication by adding an image or an Inpage by HTML code following these steps:
- Move to the next tab: Imagery & Media.
- Click on the Add Image button.
- Choose from the type of image you will add from the dropdown menu. If the images will be uploaded from your device, pick Select Image. If the images will be added as a URL, pick Import Image by URL.
- You can add as many images as you wish.
- The first image you upload will be the main one displayed on our website. Nevertheless, you can edit the order of appearance by changing the number in the box under the column Display sequence.
- You can also change the main image by picking an image and selecting Set as primary image under the column Action.
- Once you uploaded the images, move to the next tab: Offer .
- To add an HTML image, click on Add Image and select Import image by URL from the dropdown menu.
- Paste the URL in the box and press Enter on your keyboard to add it.
- Once you complete the field, you will see a verification green ticket that confirms that you can go to the next tab: Offer
If you use images that are hosted as URL, they must be publicly accessible (no name or password required) and end in JPG.
You must upload at least 2 images per product. We suggest to generate the URL for your images on the host imgur.com.
To delete or edit, you must upload at least 2 images (or URL) previously on Seller Center.
If you use duplicated images (or URL), the upload won’t be accomplished.

• Price and Offer Section
- Move to the next tab, Offer.
- Fill in the mandatory fields.Click on Submit.
- If the Product ID already exist, you will see a dropdown tab with the information. Verify it and then click on Add Item.
- Once you finish filling in the details, click on Submit.
- A message below the screen will confirm the upload.

You can use Pricing Tool to calculate the price of your products according to currency exchange, commissions, taxes and shipping cost.

- Open the document and complete the fields marked in blue.
Example:
If the gross price of the product (before tax/fees) is USD 21, the suggested price is $29.990 CLP.
- Enter the exchange rate according to the link in cell G2 or here in the box above the blue marked fields.
- Complete the following categories marked in blue:
Product Name (optional).
Category. You must select the right category for your product from the drop down menu. Look for the right category here.
Subcategory. Choose carefully from the drop down menu.
*Category and Subcategory fields will automatically calculate the commission.
Dimensions and weight. Enter the dimensions and weight of the package (not just the product). This will automatically calculate the shipping.
Product Price. Enter the price in USD at which you want to list your product.
- The fields in gray will fill in automatically.
- The orange marked field should be the final price of the product and the one you should publish. Keep in mind this is only a suggested price and the final decision is up to the seller. Read more about Pricing Tool here.

You can save changes after completing all the mandatory fields: Product Content, Images and Selling Terms & Conditions.
• Add single products with multiple choices.
Chose this feature to upload products with color and/or size choices (among others). Check how to do it following these steps:
- Go to Build your Catalog.
- Select the Add Items blue button.
- Click on Create a new item.
- Fill in the mandatory fields.Remember The information must be written in Spanish
- Enter the name that will be published on the website in Item name including size and/or color choices.
- Remember The information must be written in Spanish
Example:
If your product has multiple color options, create each item one by one and point out the difference between them in the field Nombre del producto (Product Name).
First product: Guantes de box rojos talla 12oz (Red boxing gloves size 12oz)
Second product: Guantes de box blancos talla 12oz (White boxing gloves size 12oz)
Third product: Guantes de box negros talla 12oz (Black boxing gloves size 12oz)
- Complete the field Descripción Larga (Long Product Description) with the item information including size and/or color. In this field you can also include other features of the item.
- Complete the field Descripción Corta (Short Product Description) describing the product briefly including color and size
Example:
Color rojo 12oz (Red color 12oz)
Color blanco 12oz (White color 12oz)
Color negro 12oz (Black color 12oz)
- Complete the rest of the required information as explained in the point 1 of this guide, since you will be the products one by one.
- Once you have finished filling in all the mandatory fields, you can move on to the next steps (Images and Offer), as previously explained.
2. Validate your product upload
• Check if your product was correctly uploaded.
- Click on Manage Items in the left menu.
- Select Activity Feed from the drop down menu.
- You will see the Activity Feed board as it follows.
- Verify if the time and date of your upload is correct
- Make sure the Status column indicates the upload as Processed and also that the Errors column shows a hyphen meaning 0 errors

• Update your product stock.
- Go to Manage items.
- Select your product and pick Inventory.
- Complete the new stock quantity and click on Update.
- Verify the stock update in the column Inventory.
3. Specifications for uploading images to Seller Center.
