In this guide, learn about Recalled Policies in Walmart Marketplace Canada.
What is the Policy?
Products that have been recalled are prohibited from sale on Walmart Marketplace Canada. For purposes of this policy, “Recalled Products” refer to unsafe, hazardous, defective, or non-compliant products identified by a regulatory authority, or identified by the standards set by the manufacturer. In addition to Recalled Products, products that are the subject of warning letters, market withdrawals, regulatory press releases or safety alerts may also be prohibited.
In accordance with the Marketplace Seller agreement, sellers are obligated to notify Walmart Canada of all product recalls within 24 hours of becoming aware of the recall and will promptly provide Walmart Canada with all information reasonably requested regarding the recall.
