What is the Policy?

Plants, plant products, seeds, or similar products, subject to federal, provincial, or municipal government quarantine or other restriction are prohibited from sale on Walmart Marketplace Canada.

Prohibited

Allowed

Any item prohibited or quarantined by the CFIA, the Seeds Act, the Seeds Regulations, the Plant Protection Regulations or applicable provincial or municipal government laws, such as various citrus plants

Any plants or seeds imported into Canada

Any dangerous seeds or plants

Any seeds used to grow illegal drugs

Plants, seeds, and other plant products that are legally compliant with federal, provincial, and municipal regulatory and licensing requirements, such as:
o Domestic vegetables, many fruits, and flower plants and seeds

Christmas trees
