What is the Policy? 

Knives intended for fighting, combat, are of military grade, or meant to be used as weapons, are prohibited to be sold on Walmart Marketplace Canada. 

Policy Basics

  • Knives and other Melee Weapons, including:  
    o Brass knuckles  
    o Leaded canes or other leaded sticks  
    o Nightsticks/Billy clubs  
    o Nunchuks  
    o Balisong  
    o Paratrooper  
    Saps/blackjacks  
    o Kusari-fundo  
    o Sansetsukon  
    o Throwing stars  
    o Fighting knives  
    o US Marine combat knives  
    o Mini combat knives  
    o Boot knives  
    o Spring-assisted knives  
    o Ball-bearing assisted knives  
    o Disguised or Concealed knives  
    o Pen knives  
    o Switchblades  
    o Butterfly knives  
    o Automatic knives  
    o Push dagger  
    o Stiletto  
    o Shobi-zue  
    o Slasher knives  
    o Claws or spikes that attach to the shoe, other clothing item, or any body part o Sword canes and swords that are not purely ornamental and are marketed as ready for use as a weapon  
    o Self-defense weapons (canes, bats, keychain, necklaces)  
    o Self-defense rings  

  • Mace/Pepper Spray 

  • Kitchen knives  

  • Knives designed specifically for hunting  

  • Rubber training knives  

  • Utility knives
