What is the Policy?

Walmart Canada prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages and products on its Marketplace. In additional, federal law strictly prohibits individuals from producing distilled spirits at home without a permit and therefore, such products are also prohibited from sale on Walmart Marketplace Canada.

Hard liquors (e.g. vodka, whiskey, brandy, etc.)

Beer

Wine (e.g. Red/white, port, champagne, vermouth, wine coolers, etc.)

Hard Ciders

Mead

Hard seltzers

Aperitifs and cordials

Mixers

Bitters (i.e. Cocktail bitters and digestive bitters)

Ingestible products containing alcohol (e.g., alcohol filled chocolates/candy, alcohol-soaked cakes, etc.)

Powdered alcohol

Distiller/distillation equipment and kits

Moonshine making equipment and kits

Wine distilling equipment and kits

Empty collectible alcohol containers are allowed only if clearly identified as empty.

Kombucha

Ginger beer and other non-alcoholic craft sodas

Home fermenting equipment and kits for making wine, beer, cider, mead, etc.
