WFS Inventory: Remove Items from a Fulfillment Center
Last updated on Nov 4, 2024
Reading time: 8 min
Overview

Seller can now remove items from a Walmart fulfillment center, through the Removal Orders page in Seller Center. The removed items can be picked up from FC, sent back to you or disposed of as per your choice.

What to Expect

  • Fulfillment centers will consolidate cartons into as few shipments as possible for removal requests.
  • For items that have been stored in their original cartons, fulfillment centers will make their best attempt to return them to you in the same, original cartons.
  • Items that may have been removed from their original cartons as part of the normal receiving process into the fulfillment center would be returned in unbranded or Walmart-branded boxes.
  • The shipment can either be picked up from the FC or WFS will arrange transportation of removal shipments.
  • You’ll be charged a per-item fee for items returned.
  • WFS will process removal shipments within 30 calendar days of receiving the request. If your units are stored across multiple Walmart fulfillment centers, we’ll proportionally remove them from each facility.
  • Inventory removal or disposal requests require a minimum of 10 units. Any requests for removal or disposal of quantities less than 10 must be approved by the WFS team at wfs_canada@walmart.com.
